Manson was good.

I went to a Marilyn Manson concert with a good friend of mine this last weekend. We got to meet the guy, shake his hand, get stuff signed, and were up front for the concert. It was the most fun I've had in a long while. Good performance by the opening act and a more than great performance by Manson.

Horror, Vinyl, and Amazing Weekends.

This weekend I went to visit a young lady whom I knew in high school. We were about town, looking through some of the record shops, and I found a two-disc edition of Venom's third album, At War With Satan.  The records are red and look to be in good shape, and even though I was looking for Epicus Doomicus Metallicus, by Candlemass, it was still a nice find. I listened to track one, which takes up the entire A side of the first record, and it was amazing. If you haven't listened, do it, I'd've done a dance in the store if I was able to dance, it's that good.
After that we watched Shock Treatment, a(n) (s)equal to Rocky Horror, as a warm-up to going to see TRHPS at the local theater. (I ate half of my toast absentmindedly, whoops.)

I'm considering adding a music section to the blag for cool bands I find out about. I'll try to stray away from the popular stuff in whatever genera I happen to be listening to on the days I post, so no Metallica, no Styx, and absolutely no rap that isn't Baby got Back.

Anyway.... My weekend was the best I could've hoped for, and I hope to have many more like it.

I'm not evil, I promise

Before I begin this one I need to make one thing clear, it is really hard to tell if I'm being serious or not. I'll try to follow dubious statements with a [/sarcasm] or some such thing, otherwise I come off as an awful person.(I'm thinking of Poe's Law.)

Here's my stance on abortion: No.
If you're a pregnant woman reading this, you don't think your child will have a good life, and are contemplating abortion because of this, shame on you. If the kid's life is so bad that death is better than living, let them decide that on their own. Everyone has a right to suicide, and it is a heinous breach of civil rights for someone to make that decision for them. [/joke]

In all seriousness, there are already laws in place in regards to people killing people. It's not like the fetus is ever a pig or a cat or something, it's a person. I suppose the question is when is it a separate person from the mother. I don't pretend to be an expert on that, but if I have to choose between something that might be murdering a child, and something that definitely isn't murder, I'm taking the safe option.

I suppose since this is my first post, a bit of an introduction is in order, or rather, a statement of intent.

I discovered that political/religions posts on the internet eventually get overran by idiots from both sides shouting that their side is right. This annoys me.
Because of this, I will most likely use this blag to rant about things that have recently annoyed me. At some point in my ranting I'll probably go off on a tangent, and then another, and then another, and so on, until I loop back to what I was talking about. It might make sense if you read it all, but I'm not making any promises.


I'll probably share my art-work at some point, as well as my hobby stuff, and my views on all sorts of things that I know nothing about, like physics, physics is neat.
